We were very grateful to be able to welcome the Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) team in to CHS in March to screen 200 of our students in Years 9-13 to help spot any undiagnosed cardiac abnormalities before they become an issue.
We received funding for 200 students to access the screening and these places were offered to students in Years 9 to 13 on a first come, first served basis.
CRY screens young people aged 14-35 and hopes to prevent Young sudden cardiac deaths through awareness, screening and research.
